In the cellar
We do whole bunch press. The wine was naturally fermented in French oak barrels. The wine spent 9 months in the barrel before bottling. 100% of the wine was fermented and aged in barrels. A total of 23% new was used.
In the vineyard
All the grapes came from a block on our farm, Winshaw Vineyards in Stellenbosch. All the vineyards are trellised. All grapes are harvested by hand in individual bins in optimal conditions to ensure true quality from beginning to end. We picked at two different Balling levels to add layers and complexity to the wine.

The Chardonnay will pair well with grilled fish and chicken dishes. It will also pair well with seafood such as salmon and tuna as well as lighter pork dishes.
