More Information

In the cellar

The grapes were harvested on the 20th of February 2017 at 25.3°b. Fermented at 26 - 28°c for about 4 days. Pumped over daily during alcoholic fermentation. Malolatic fermentation took place in barrels. The wine matured in new and 2nd fill french oak barrels for 18 months.

In the vineyard

A cold dry winter, followed by a mild, dry spring and cooler than average summer created perfect conditions for the development of small berries and highly concentrated wines.

Ageing

In good cellaring conditions, this wine has an ageing potential of ten years plus.
