Bruwer Vintners Lone Wolf Cinsault 2024
R350,00
It is a charming and eloquent expression of the variety. Nose shows cranberry and red cherry notes, with a floral element that is underpinned by fragrant spices. It is light of touch on the palate but remains concentrated with bright acidity and powdery tannins, giving length to the dry finish.

In the vineyard
This is a rather special story of an old vineyard of Cinsault in Stellenbosch. It was planted in 1953, by absolute chance, and now many decades later, we are cultivating and harvesting this piece of history and producing a very special stand-alone wine. Only 1 000 bottles produced.
Located in the magical Bottelary Hills, this vineyard stands firm and tall as one of the oldest vineyards in Stellenbosch. Planted in rich soils with weathered granite and shale, fully exposed to the African sun, allowing this admirably adapted variety to flourish.
