It is a legacy… This is as a result of a ‘something’ that occurred in 1941, where families were brought together and bound for generations to follow. Today, we find that the third and fourth generations of these families are all still actively involved in the production of this fine wine. Each glass is guaranteed to tell a story of rich history that is attributed to the labour and efforts of the past, that have combined to produce this wine.
AÂ Bordeaux Blend is a combination of two or more classic varieties. Stellenbosch 1679 The Legacy, however, is a culmination of five bold varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet franc. When maturing this decadent red wine, brand new French oak barrels are used. Full-bodied, yet elegant classic style. Deep ruby red colour with blackcurrant (cassis) and red berry flavours.
