About the Wine Estate

David was born and bred in the Swartland and completed a BSc viticulture and oenology at the University of Stellenbosch, after which he worked locally at Waterford and Rustenberg, and overseas in New Zealand and France. His first permanent position was at Saronsberg and thereafter at Lemberg. During 2010, his first own-label wine was produced. Since 2013, his focus has been exclusively on the David & Nadia brand, and during 2014 he was able to settle in the Swartland on the Paardebosch farm. David’s aim is to produce wines reflecting true Swartland character and he focuses specifically on Chenin Blanc and Chenin-based blends and Grenache and Grenache-based blends.
