About the Wine Estate
Koelenhof Wine Cellar is situated among vineyard-covered slopes, 14 kilometres outside the beautiful town of Stellenbosch in the Western Cape region of South Africa. As far as Stellenbosch wine farms go, visitors can expect to find a wide range of products and services at their winery. Koelenhof Wine Cellar emerged from humble beginnings as a bulk wine producer. The grower-owned winery was established in 1941, with the De Vries family at the helm. Members of the family continue to play an integral role at the winery, supported by a dedicated team of staff and loyal partners. Today, Koelenhof presses 16,000 tons of grapes every year – the fruit of the labour and commitment of 70 local shareholders.
