Only the exposed bunches on the morning sun side of Remhoogte’s 35 year old Chenin Blanc vineyard are selected for this wine, they turn gold in colour as a result of their exposure giving the wine a unique honeyed character. This wine is fermented with the wild/indigenous yeasts in older French oak barrels giving it an incredible complexity showing rich, honeyed fruit with a bright acidity leading into a delicious savoury finish.

The summer tastings are set outside with picturesque views of the Stellenbosch mountains, Remhoogte’s vineyards and a wildlife camp stocked with Zebra, Wildebeest and Springbok. In winter, warm up next to the fireplace while you enjoy the wines on their own or paired with local artisanal cheeses.
