The wine shows notes of delicate citrus aromas of blue orange and hits of lemon and lime rind this is followed by some beautiful notes of butterscotch and white almond. On the palate the wine has a clean crisp acidity with citrus flavors from the nose onto the palate. There is good complexity with long creamy textured finish.

More Information

In the cellar

All the grapes were whole bunch pressed in the cellar. 300L French oak barrels were used and of that approximately 15% new oak for this wine. The wine went through malolactic fermentation all naturally giving the wine a good texture and mouthfeel. The wine matured in barrel on the gross lees for 12 months.

In the vineyard

The grapes were all handpicked on four different occasions to bring more complexity to the profile.

Ageing

This wine has good ageing potential and can be aged for five to seven years provided that it is stored in the proper conditions.

This wine pairs superbly with asian food, any seafood especially prawns, roast chicken, fresh garden green salad.
